Lantern

The inspiration for this ring came from a construction spotlight from the building site. An instrument that gives us notonly light but also heat. While most steelworkers today are equipped with LED's, the incarnation of our ring was an old halogen spotlight.

The heart of the ring is a 5.5 carat Citryn stone, cut in the Emerald shape. The stone most mimics the warm light on the old construction spotlights. The setting that surrounds the stone was designed by us and is not found anywhereelse.

While the grid was highly polished, the rest of the surface of the ring was processed with a sandblaster. Thereby we want topick up the concrete, which is illuminated by the spotlight.
